Twinkling Twilight PsyChiller

This song is sweet in it's offering of a delicate melody with an interplay of gently rolling frequencies from below. Stumbling echoic drum fills blow through on a breeze. Take a moment to relax and enjoy this.

Facefull of Ripped Up Distortion

Shouts to DJ Michael Human. Thanks to his heavy electro sets at Cowfish, I've had the distinct pleasure of stomping it out to this track in high definition sound, with three-to-five gin and tonics coursing through my veins. This track has a perfectly blended dirty synth lines and bass for days. Enjoy it through till the end. And if you get a chance, join me Saturdays at the Cowfish Nightclub here in Eugene, OR and hear it live.

Sprinkly Hand Clapper

Mylo is the man. I heard somewhere this guy made the entire Destroy Rock & Roll album alone in his room in Scotland. He then released it and changed the world. This is the kind of bubbly dance pop that just clears your mind and causes heads to bob. The album is generally more downtempo, but this cut has a more upbeat tempo, which definitely appeals to me. Sweet sprinklings of tasty sound, enjoy.

Beauty From the Pains of Love

Although this track is usually credited to Bob Marley, the smooth, stinging, vocals are delivered by Julian Braithwaite. Legend has it that he was once considered for the front man position of the wailers group. Interspersed through out the song are twinkling guitar ramblings, which really add emotional depth to the sonic quality. If only that last solo was recorded to its finish....*sigh* This song is truly rare. I haven't heard anything else by this singer, and I've done a bit of research. If anyone out there has anything of his to share, please let me know. :)

Deftones in Diamonds

In celebration of the new album, Diamond Eyes, I'm posting another spectacular Deftones song to the list. The title track is haunting and melodic, heavy, dark and sparkling. Deftones deliver yet again, low and heavy. Crank this with your eyes closed.

Gnarly Electro Fever

This jam is perhaps my all time favorite electro mash. Soulwax produces so cleanly, that even a distorted synth line like this one starts sounding polished after a few listens. Hard hitting, with some apparent throwbacks to Kraftwerk, this one is a must. Knobs it to 11, please.

Voice in the Darkness Echoing Fuzzy

Crystal Castles is the shit! This is one of my favorites from heir self-titled album. Although it's an upbeat and catchy head-nodder, this one yields some darker undertones. That said, the synthetic vocals and echoing melodic fuzz create an emotional charge unusual in much of electronic music.

Ominously And Soothing

This is my favorite Beatles song. What more can I say?

Feel Good Electron Pop!

This track alternates between bubbly electron love and shifty sparse expanses. A very catchy melody floats its way through, hitting with bounce to spare. Electronic music pioneer Jean-Jacques Perrey teams with contemporary superstars, AIR to produce a song overflowing with effervescence. If you listen closley, you can feel the electrons tickling as they stream upward.
